How do we quickly pick up many emails? Where will we find so many contacts? Who will help us? The emails I have arrived? These are some of the most common questions we are asked to do and may be among the most difficult issues faced by those who make their first steps in email marketing and mass mailing.
Explain that there are many ways to make a list. The matter is time! We, with our experience, write to you what we have seen working on in order to quickly create your own email list.
First of all, however, we must say the two most common mistakes made:
1) Most find it right to wait until they make a long list before their first assignment. The 9 out of 10 cases that we know tell us “we want to get right, get in and get email”. This is a huge mistake! The most important thing is that you do not expect to make a long list because you just will NOT NEVER NEVER THINK! All those waiting to make the big list actually did not manage to make a mission because they are still … getting ready.
2) The second biggest mistake is that you think your email is few. Even 50-100 emails to get from friends and acquaintances is enough to get you started. It may not be thousands but is more than enough to be able to see how email marketing works.
What makes us particularly skeptical is that most people do not use all the tools or tools available to them, which are usually simple and free.
We’ve mentioned that 50-100 contacts are enough to start your mission. Start from the program you have to send email. Open Outlook, Thunderbird, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc. and collect all email friends and acquaintances that you have occasionally exchanged mail. These may not be the target audience (your target market), but they are your friends and acquaintances and they can help you in many ways.
They can give you ideas, give you their say in order to be able to further improve your newsletter.
If you have not used them so far, you should start using them or find someone who knows how social networks work and helps you. Social media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. give you the ability to chat with people, see what interests them and what not.
With Facebook, for example, you can make a friend of yours chat with him and explain to him what you are doing. Can someone recommend you to someone who knows and cares about the job you want to promote? Do you know who do what you want? Ask him how he can help you.
With Facebook, you can get to know people who would otherwise not know them.
Use twitter to promote your website (if you have). On Twitter for every tweet you make, there is space available for 160 characters so you can write something like “FREE coupon for a hairdresser at www.onomasas.gr”. When there is something right and useful to give the world, there is always a return.
Talk to well-known professionals and business associates
Contact associates, professionals who share the same product, interest, etc. and tell them what you want to do and how you intend to promote it. Ask them if they want to receive your newsletter and come in contact with them and talk to them.
Do you have any offer that you want to promote? Ask them if it’s easy to promote it simply by mentioning your website or your name. Ask them if they know others who are likely to be interested in learning about the product or service you offer.
If you have a physical store
If you keep a physical store you can ask customers who come to your store to be completely friendly to leave their email even if they do not “buy” something.
Give them the opportunity to learn news from you about future discounts, promotions, etc. Print a simple coupon, a nice bulletin or ask them discreetly if they want to leave their email. Talk to them and explain them. To come to your store, it means that something interesting would have seen they liked it.
Use your website
For those who have a website, do not ignore the people who visit your website. Give them incentives to subscribe or email you so you can keep in touch with them. Use the contact form or newsletter subscription form. Add Social Networks to every page of your website.

Οι παραπάνω τρόποι μπορεί να μην είναι αρκετοί, αλλά σίγουρα δουλεύουν στην Ελληνική αγορά, είναι δοκιμασμένοι από πελάτες μας και δίνουν πραγματικές λύσεις.

Ακόμα και αν έχετε μικρή λίστα με email, ΠΡΕΠΕΙ ΝΑ ΚΑΝΕΤΕ ΤΗΝ ΑΡΧΗ με το email marketing. Να δείτε πως γίνονται οι καμπάνιες, τα newsletter και οι αποστολές. Μετέπειτα, βάλτε την συλλογή των email ως μια τακτική εργασία, μην το παραμελήσετε και θα δείτε ότι σιγά σιγά οι λίστες σας θα εμπλουτίζονται με νέα, ποιοτικά email.
Οι λίστες χτίζονται σιγά σιγά και με υπομονή. Δεν αγοράζονται και δεν ενοικιάζονται!
