Tips for writing a good newsletter

  1. A clear newsletter topic. It is good not to use impressive titles, which reminisce more of advertising spots. Because a lot of ads appear on the internet, most users ignore them and they do not even open them. A title is much more appreciated as a topic that is short and clear. The first to go to the recipient’s look is clear that it’s this, so be careful.

  2.

  3. The basic text must be comprehensive but not unnecessary. It is better to refer the recipient to your site. So, we do not tire the reader but also promote our site.

  4.

  5. Do not use attachments large in size. Very few will open the attachment whether it be word or pdf. A good solution is to create a citation to see the information in a sub page of your site or open the document in the browser (always via the link).

  6.

  7. We do not load content with many graphics and referrals. Our Newsletter must be legible and simple.

  8.

  9. Divide your message into sections. It’s good not to send text down, but split each section with horizontal lines, headers and footers.

  10.

  11. The language of the texts must be simple and understandable. Surveys show that most users only read the first paragraph and then browse the rest of the message. A good trick is the bullets where you magnetize the eye and the bold ones.

  12.

  13. Customize the language and style of the text to the audience you are addressing.
  14.

  15. Create HTML email. This way, you can create a much more appealing, lightweight and functional message.

  16.

  17. Finally, another important element is the ability to easily delete the recipient from your list if he so desires.
